Schools Around the World
In brief . . .
Schools Around the World (SAW) is the international umbrella for the Academy for Teaching Excellence. Teachers from nine partner nations and 12 International Schools contribute student work for the analysis and improvement of teaching math and science content areas. SAW provides teachers around the world the opportunity to become reflective practitioners, using student work from their own classrooms as a basis for analyzing the quality of teaching and learning.
Currently the program is developing a report on science literacy in the various countries as seen in student work and a second report on pre-algebraic thinking as found in cases of mathematics student work.
